"I had planned on having a friend create my website as they were willing to do it for free. As a brand new entrepreneur I didn't have a "budget" for anything and the price was right. As the process went on however, it was clear to see that I was going to get exactly what I 'paid' for. In a panic I took another friends advice and then attempted to create the website myself from templates that were low cost but, once again low quality. Knowing how vital my website would be to my business I had to make a choice - take something below par at little or no cost or find someone to pay in order to get exactly what I wanted.
